You can search by flight number and date, or browse by airline and aircraft, and compare the different versions of an aircraft an airline flies. Each seat is rated good, be aware or avoid, based on legroom, recline, how it lines up with the window and how close it is to galleys and toilets.

The maps show seat pitch, width and recline, power sockets, seatback screens and the quality of the Wi-Fi, as well as bassinet positions and galleys. Coverage spans the major airlines of North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and many smaller carriers, with a section of historic seat maps too.

It suits travellers who care where they sit on long flights, families who need a bassinet position and anyone choosing between cabins. AeroLOPA is a reference tool: you still select, and where airlines charge pay for, the seat with the airline.
